Frequently Asked Questions

What genres do you specialize in?

Rhythm Riot Studio focuses on electronic music with a strong emphasis on peak-time and festival-scale productions, including EDM, melodic techno, progressive, big room, and club-oriented electronic styles.

Our hybrid analog workflow is specifically optimized for punch, depth, and translation in large sound systems and clubs.

Do you work with artists worldwide?

Yes. Most projects are completed remotely for international artists and labels.

You can send your stems or mixes digitally, and all communication, revisions, and approvals are handled online with professional precision and fast turnaround.

How should I prepare my files for mixing?

Please export clean, unprocessed stems from your DAW starting at bar 1.

Avoid bus limiting or heavy processing on the master channel.

If you have creative effects you want to keep, you may include both wet and dry versions.

Detailed preparation guidelines are provided after booking.

How should I prepare my mix for mastering?

Deliver your stereo mix in WAV or AIFF format at the original project sample rate and bit depth.

Leave sufficient headroom (typically around −6 dB peak) and remove limiters from the master bus unless they are part of the intended sound.

If needed, we can advise before delivery.

What makes hybrid analog mixing different?

Hybrid analog mixing combines the precision of digital production with the depth, headroom, and harmonic behavior of high-end analog hardware.

At Rhythm Riot Studio, mixes are processed through a large-scale recallable analog architecture with summing, dynamics, EQ, and spatial processing designed for electronic music impact and club translation.

Can you match commercial loudness and streaming standards?

Yes. Masters are optimized for both club playback and streaming platforms.

We ensure competitive loudness while preserving punch, depth, and clarity, avoiding distortion or collapse at high energy levels.

Do you offer revisions?

Yes. All mixing and mastering projects include revision rounds to ensure the final result matches your artistic vision.

We work collaboratively until you are fully satisfied with the outcome.

What is the typical turnaround time?

Turnaround depends on project scope and schedule, but typical ranges are:

  • Mastering: a few days
  • Mixing: several days to about one week

Exact timing is confirmed upon booking.

Can you work with analog synth or hardware-based productions?

Absolutely. The studio is designed for electronic producers using both in-the-box and hardware workflows.

Hybrid and analog productions integrate seamlessly into our mixing and mastering architecture.

Do you offer attended sessions or destination projects?

Yes. Rhythm Riot Studio is located in Andratx, Mallorca and offers destination sessions for artists and producers who wish to work on site in a focused, private environment.

Remote and attended workflows are both supported.

How do I book a session?

You can request a project via the contact or booking form on the website.

Please include basic details about your track, genre, timeline, and service required (mixing, mastering, or both).

We will respond with availability and next steps.
